The SensoryU Difference

Our Story

SensoryU was founded by husband-and-wife duo Kate and Mark Reeve, driven by a shared passion to make high-quality therapy equipment more accessible, affordable, and impactful – for the families and therapists who need it most.

Kate is an experienced Occupational Therapist, trained in Ayres Sensory Integration (ASI), and has spent over a decade working closely with children and families. Each SensoryU product is tried and tested in her own clinic, ensuring it’s developmentally appropriate, safe, and actually works in real therapeutic settings.

Mark brings his creative and technical expertise from a background in graphic design and printing. He now leads the design, rigging, and supplier partnerships behind every SensoryU piece. His attention to detail, practical thinking, and commitment to supporting local suppliers ensure that every product meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety.

Built with Purpose. Made with Love.

Since moving to Australia in 2019, Kate and Mark have proudly supported local industry, carefully sourcing materials to meet Australian Made certification requirements. We independently test every design of suspended equipment by a NATA-accredited laboratory, and our frames are reviewed by structural engineers to ensure they’re as safe and strong as possible.

But perhaps the most special part? Kate and Mark are also parents to three energetic kids – who are often the first to test new ideas and products. Their home and workshop are filled with laughter, love, and a whole lot of swing time.

At SensoryU, we’re not just making equipment. We’re creating tools that empower children to move, regulate, participate, and thrive – and we do it with genuine care for the families, therapists, and educators who use them.

Built with purpose. Made with love. That’s the SensoryU difference.
